Chasen recently made his AEA theatre debut at Stage's Repertory Theater's production of We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as Southwest Africa from the German Sudwestafrika Between the Years 1884-1915 in Houston, TX.
Not only did The Houston Chronicle call the production "the best play of the year," but Chasen's performance received high regard from the critics as well:
"Parker somehow makes the good looking guy, and the one actor not comfortable with improv [in the story], the most emotionally breakable of the troop even while playing a monster. " - Tarra Gaines, Arts & Culture: TX
"Chasen Parker’s [Character] is accused early of being afraid to improv, so we expect that when the show's racial politics explode later, he’ll be at the center, and Parker doesn’t disappoint regarding that particular arc [of the story]." - Natalie De La Garza, The Houston Press
Having an affinity toward Shakespeare, Chasen has been in several productions of William Shakespeare's work including Much Ado About Nothing (Right), As You Like It, and even A Midsummer's Night Dream in Original Pronunciation
